The Chicago Cubs had an increase in attendance, thanks to their success of consistently winning games. The graph shows how the attendance changed over the years from 2007 till 2016.

The graph shows that attendance for the Cubs started to decrease after 2008. The year, 2013, was the lowest attendance for the Cubs. The following year, 2014, the Cubs had about the same attendance.

The attendance started to increase in 2014 because Wrigley Field was celebrating its 100th year anniversary. People wanted to see the old Wrigley Field before Wrigley Field was under renovation. Some people wanted to feel the old Wrigley Field before the upgrade.

The attendance shot up drastically, according to the graph, in 2015. In 2015, people were confident that the Cubs were going to win the World Series because of the prediction in “Back to the Future II.” That year, the Cubs almost won the World Series.

The Cubs won the following year, 2016, while having a high attendance but not that high as 2008. If “Back to the Future II,” never predicted the Cubs will win the World Series in 2015, the attendance might have still been low for 2016.
